I thought it would be a good use of time to go through all of the concepts Madame Blavatsky uses, when she tries to describe the meanings in the Stanzas of Dzyan. Madame Blavatsky's book The Secret Doctrine is the most important book in Theosophical literature. Stanza VII. continues the history, tracing the descent of life down to the appearance of Man; and thus closes the first Book of the Secret Doctrine. The development of "Man" from his first appearance on this earth in this Round to the state in which we now find him will form the subject of Book II.

The Book of Dzyan - from the Sanskrit word "Dhyan" (mystic meditation) - is the first volume of the Commentaries upon the seven secret folios of Kiu-te, and a Glossary of the public works of the same son of man. Thirty-five volumes of Kiu-te for exoteric purposes and the use of the laymen may be found in the possession of the Tibetan Gelugpa Lamas.
The Book of Dzyan is a reputedly ancient text that is said to contain the Stanzas of Dzyan, which form the basis for The Secret Doctrine (), one of the foundational works of the theosophical movement.
